Ambassador Ersoy outlines COP31 priorities at ARISE Cities Forum in New Delhi
Türkiye’s Ambassador to New Delhi, Ali Murat Ersoy, attended the ARISE Cities Forum 2026, organized by ICLEI South Asia, and outlined the priorities of Türkiye’s COP31 Presidency.
Türkiye’s Ambassador to New Delhi, Ali Murat Ersoy, spoke at the ARISE Cities Forum 2026, organized in New Delhi by ICLEI South Asia, following the World Climate Readiness Summit (WCRS 2026).
At the forum, Ersoy outlined the priorities of Türkiye’s COP31 Presidency. The forum was held under the theme “Bharat to Antalya COP31” (from India to Antalya for COP31), with India’s Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs among its supporters.
COP31 will convene in Antalya in November
The 31st session of the United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP31) will be held in Antalya from November 9 to 20.
ICLEI, or Local Governments for Sustainability, is an international network that brings together more than 2,500 local and regional governments worldwide. The forum addressed cities’ efforts to adapt to climate change and strengthen their resilience.
