An Earthquake of Magnitude 4.2 Occurred in Osmaniye
AFAD announced that there was an earthquake of magnitude 4.2 and 7 km depth in the Sumbas district of Osmaniye. The earthquake was also felt in surrounding provinces.
In a statement by the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), it was reported that an earthquake of magnitude 4.2 was recorded in the Sumbas district of Osmaniye. It was stated that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers and at 21:44. The tremor was felt not only in Osmaniye but also in surrounding provinces such as Kahramanmaraş and Adana. According to initial assessments, no adverse effects were experienced due to the earthquake, but there was a brief period of concern. Authorities announced that they are monitoring the developments.
