According to data from the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), an earthquake of magnitude 4.2 was recorded in the Sumbas district of Osmaniye. The depth of the earthquake was measured at 7 kilometers. The tremor was felt in the city center of Osmaniye and surrounding districts. After the earthquake, some citizens went outside as a precaution, but field surveys reported no loss of life, injuries, or material damage. Authorities announced that investigations in the area are ongoing.
