Ankara probe into FETO’s current IT network leads to 10 detentions
Detention warrants were issued for 13 suspects as part of an investigation into FETO’s current IT network in Ankara. Ten suspects were detained in a simultaneous operation, while efforts to apprehend the fugitives continue.
Detention warrants were issued for 13 suspects as part of an investigation into FETO’s current IT network in Ankara.
The Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office said the investigation was conducted as part of efforts to uncover the organization’s use of Signal, its encrypted messaging app. Teams from the National Intelligence Organization and the Counterterrorism Branch of the Ankara Police Department took part in the operation.
Ten of the suspects wanted under the detention warrants were detained in a simultaneous operation. Efforts to apprehend the fugitives are ongoing.
