Fuel purchase limits introduced in Russian-annexed Crimea after months of shortages are being lifted. Sevastopol's Russian-installed governor, Mikhail Razvozhayev, said limits in the city were lifted at midnight on Monday, that gasoline logistics had largely stabilized and that there was enough fuel in the short term.
The restrictions began in May after Ukraine targeted military trucks and tankers carrying fuel to the peninsula. As Ukrainian strikes on Russian refineries intensified, shortages spread to mainland Russia.

The average price of gasoline in Sevastopol rose to 131.76 rubles per liter on Oct. 12, and gasoline prices across Russia have risen more than 21% since the start of the year.
