ASELSAN can now produce thousands of TOLUN munitions a month, says Akyol
ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol said the TOLUN munition family is mass-produced by robots and monthly capacity is now measured in thousands.
Speaking to TRT Haber at TEKNOFEST Southeast in Şanlıurfa, ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol said a bunker-busting version of TOLUN that can penetrate more than one meter of concrete is in active use, alongside fragmentation, laser-seeker and IIR versions. "All of these are mass-produced by robots, and we now express capacity in thousands. We can produce thousands a month," he said.
Akyol added that new, much longer-range powered versions of TOLUN, launched from both land and air, are being developed.
