Beşiktaş report traumatic bone marrow edema in Trossard’s heel bone

Beşiktaş report traumatic bone marrow edema in Trossard’s heel bone

Beşiktaş announced that traumatic bone marrow edema had been detected in the heel bone of its player Leandro Trossard.

Trossard experienced pain in his heel after the Erzurumspor FK match. During the medical team’s assessment, MRI and CT scans were examined, and traumatic bone marrow edema was detected in the footballer’s heel bone (calcaneus).

Beşiktaş said the medical team had begun Trossard’s treatment and that the process was ongoing. The Belgian footballer was not included in the squad for the UEFA Europa League match against Olympique de Marseille because of the injury.
