Çaykur Rizespor beat TÜMOSAN Konyaspor in stoppage time
Çaykur Rizespor defeated TÜMOSAN Konyaspor 1-0 away from home in the opening week of the Trendyol Süper Lig. Laçi scored the only goal of the match in the 90+7th minute.
TÜMOSAN Konyaspor hosted Çaykur Rizespor in the opening week of the Trendyol Süper Lig. The visitors won 1-0 with a penalty scored in stoppage time.
In the 4th minute, Gonçalves met the ball that Uğurcan Yazğılı had laid off just outside the penalty area and fired a powerful first-time shot, but goalkeeper Fofana denied him.
In the 10th minute, goalkeeper Bahadır Güngördü struggled to keep out Mebude's powerful effort from the right side of the penalty area. In the 28th minute, Deniz Türüç's shot came back off the post following Andzouana's backheel inside the penalty area.
Both teams continued to search for a goal in the second half. Bahadır Güngördü saved Ahmed Kutucu's powerful effort from the edge of the penalty area in the 50th minute. Ahmed Kutucu entered the penalty area and tried his luck again in the 64th minute, but Adil Demirbağ cleared the ball before it could reach the goal.
In the 90+3rd minute, Emrecan Bulut went down in the penalty area after a challenge from a defender. Referee Cihan Aydın pointed to the spot following the incident.
Laçi took the penalty in the 90+7th minute. His shot found the net, giving Çaykur Rizespor a 1-0 victory.
