A four-vehicle chain-reaction crash on the D-400 highway in Manavgat injured seven people, six of them Dutch tourists. Their injuries are not life-threatening.

Chain-reaction crash in Manavgat injures 7, including 6 Dutch tourists

The accident occurred on July 24, 2026 at around 6:40 p.m. on the Manavgat-Antalya D-400 highway, near Hatipler Mahallesi.

A tourist minibus with plate 07 CJC 098, driven by Yılmaz T., a car with plate 34 ESG 761 driven by Murat S., a car with plate 07 LA 064 driven by Ramazan S., and a car with plate 01 AVU 663 driven by Murat E. were involved in a chain-reaction crash.

Car driver Murat E. and Dutch nationals F. R, R. R. S, D. R, R. K, J. D. K and L. H. K, who were passengers in the tourist minibus, were injured.

Upon notification, many health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. After first aid by 112 emergency medical teams, the injured were taken to various hospitals in Manavgat. Their injuries were reported to be non-life-threatening.

The D-400 highway was closed to traffic for a while following the accident. After the vehicles were towed away and traffic teams cleared the road, traffic returned to normal, albeit controlled. An investigation into the accident has been launched.
