Children present Republic Day program at Ottawa Atatürk School
Children presented a program they prepared at the October 29 Republic Day event held by Atatürk School in Ottawa, the capital of Canada. The Embassy of Türkiye in Ottawa also attended the event.
Atatürk School in Ottawa, the capital of Canada, organized an event marking October 29 Republic Day. The school's children presented the program they had prepared for the holiday to guests.
The Embassy of Türkiye in Ottawa, which attended the event, said it was very pleased to watch the program prepared by the children.
Dance with crescent-and-star cards
In the hall decorated with Turkish flags, students wearing red-and-white outfits performed a dance while holding cards bearing the crescent and star. Parents and guests watched the performance from their seats, applauding and, in some cases, recording it on their mobile phones.
A speech was also delivered in front of the students during the program. Students, teachers, parents and guests posed for a group photograph in front of Turkish flags.
