According to a statement from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, a new application for individual bulk returns has been launched within the DOA System, which is carried out by the Turkish Environment Agency (TÜÇA) under the coordination of the Ministry. Citizens who accumulate large amounts of beverage packaging bearing the DOA logo will be able to return them by delivering them to Counting and Verification Centers.
For individual bulk returns made through these centers, the incentive amount will be 50 kuruş per package bearing the DOA logo. The existing system with DOA machines will continue unchanged, allowing individual returns of up to 200 packages per day to deposit return machines with a 1 lira incentive.
Citizens can access up-to-date information about the nearest Counting and Verification Line via the DOA Mobile Application and DOA Call Center. The application, implemented to respond to the increasing return volume, aims to contribute to more efficient management of high-volume returns.
TÜÇA President Nurullah Öztürk, whose views were included in the statement, made the following assessment regarding the new application: 'In line with the intense interest shown by our citizens during the national integration process, we continue to strengthen our return infrastructure.
By launching the Counting and Verification Centers for individual bulk returns, we are offering our citizens a new return channel while also ensuring more effective and efficient management of high-volume returns. Based on feedback from the field, we will continue to improve our system and strengthen our return infrastructure nationwide.'
