During the Eid al-Adha holiday, the Traffic Monitoring Center within the General Directorate of Security monitors traffic flow nationwide in real-time using advanced technological systems. A total of 44,291 personnel are on duty as part of the holiday measures, with traffic density, accidents, and violations being live-tracked from the center to inform field teams. Additionally, 887 personnel working on intercity buses act as 'undercover passengers' to inspect and report drivers' rule violations. Security officials state that seat belt use on buses reduces fatalities by 45% and the risk of serious injury by 50%. This comprehensive inspection and monitoring system aims to enhance safety in holiday traffic.
