President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan hosted an official dinner at the Beştepe Nation Exhibition Hall in honor of visiting leaders on the occasion of Republic Day on Oct. 29 and the 13th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States.
The dinner was attended by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Turkmenistan's President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Tufan Erhürman. Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev, who did not attend the summit, was represented by Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

In his address, Erdoğan said, “We are excited to celebrate our Republic Day together with our brothers from the Organization of Turkic States, our ‘Family Council.’”
Erdoğan said the Republic of Türkiye, the shared work and common future of 86 million people, continued to move from success to success through its major achievements in every field. He said they had once again pledged to work with all their strength to raise the Republic above the level of contemporary civilizations.
Erdoğan said the fraternal Turkic republics had achieved major successes despite various challenges in the 35th year of their independence, adding, “I sincerely believe that, as the Turkic world, we will walk together toward our future in full solidarity, mutual respect and brotherhood, and strive to make the coming era a Turkish Century.”
During the dinner, Kyrgyz President Japarov was presented with the Order of the Turkic World, while Düsen Kaseinov, former secretary-general of TURKSOY, received the 2026 Ali-Shir Nava'i International Award.

Before the dinner, the leaders attended the opening of the Turkic States Civilization Park in Beştepe. The leaders arrived at the park in limousine models of the TOGG T10X, planted pine saplings and posed for a commemorative photograph in front of replicas of the Orkhon inscriptions. The Turkish Stars also performed a demonstration flight over the ceremony area.
The program continued at the Malazgirt Performance Center with “Dance of the Horses: Fire of Resurrection,” a performance depicting the journey of the Turks from Central Asia to Anatolia. The leaders’ session of the 13th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Organization of Turkic States is being held in Ankara on Oct. 30.
