On the final day of the 665th Historical Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling held at Edirne Sarayiçi Er Meydanı, wrestlers took to the arena.
The final day of the 665th Historical Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling is underway at Edirne's Sarayiçi Er Meydanı. In the morning, the wrestlers were paired, then they tied their arms and performed the peşrev to the accompaniment of drums and zurna.
The wrestling began at the signal of the referee committee. At noon, head wrestlers Ali Gürbüz, Mustafa Taş, Serdar Yılmaz, Orhan Okulu, Erkan Taş, Osman Kan, Feyzullah Aktürk and Seçkin Duman will take to the arena to advance to the semi-finals.
After the final bout, Turkey's new head wrestler will be determined.
