The investigation by the Terrorist Financing and Money Laundering Crimes Investigation Bureau of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office into transactions carried out in the capital markets is ongoing.
Following their detention, the 12 suspects referred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan gave statements to the prosecutor. The criminal judgeship of peace ordered the detention of Necmettin Enes Töbü, Kerem Lafçı, Cem Gürkan Alpay, Engin Geylan and Yunus Caf.
The other seven suspects were placed under judicial control. Because there was a discrepancy between the referral information in the investigation file and the judgeship’s decisions regarding the distribution of the suspects, their names were not listed individually.
