Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan conducted diplomatic engagements in Amman as part of a ministerial meeting on Jerusalem hosted by Jordan. During the visit, Fidan met with Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi to discuss regional developments.

As part of his contacts in Amman, Minister Fidan also met with Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf. The bilateral meetings addressed the Palestinian issue, the latest situation in Gaza, the status of Jerusalem, and diplomatic efforts for regional peace.

Fidan later attended the Jerusalem ministerial meeting in the Jordanian capital. The meeting assessed the preservation of the historical and legal status of holy sites in Jerusalem, developments in East Jerusalem and the West Bank, the ceasefire process in Gaza, and international efforts toward a two-state solution vision.
In a joint statement issued after the meeting, attempts to alter the historical and legal status of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Israeli practices in Jerusalem were condemned, while calling for adherence to international law and a lasting peace based on a two-state solution to the Palestinian issue.
