The GEZGİN cruise missile, one of the new projects of the Turkish defense industry, came to the agenda with its first image. It was reported that the missile, developed with national resources by TÜBİTAK-SAGE, successfully completed submarine tests. The news highlighted that GEZGİN is designed to be launched from land, air, and sea platforms. It was noted that the missile attracts attention with its long-range and precision strike capability. While the system's range is stated to be one thousand kilometers, it was also mentioned that this distance could be increased to between 1,400 and 1,600 kilometers. GEZGİN is emphasized as one of Turkey's most critical projects in the defense field in this respect. The project aims to integrate the missile not only with sea platforms but also with the MİDLAS National Vertical Launch System and F-16 aircraft. Thus, the missile is intended to be used on different operational platforms. GEZGİN, which appeared for the first time with its images, is shown among Turkey's new steps in domestic defense technologies. The missile's technical capabilities and integration plans have further increased interest in the project.
