Zionist Israel is playing every game to silence those who oppose its genocide and defend human rights. ICC Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan, who was targeted by Zionist lobbies for issuing an arrest warrant for 'Butcher of Gaza' Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has been removed from office.
The ICC Assembly of States Parties announced that the states parties to the Rome Statute held a special session on July 24 at the United Nations headquarters in New York. In a secret ballot, an absolute majority of 82 states parties decided that Karim Khan had committed 'serious misconduct and breach of duty' and removed him from office.
A FIRST IN ICC HISTORY The decision marks the first time a chief prosecutor has been removed from office in the history of the ICC, which was established in 2002. Chief Prosecutor Khan had faced sexual harassment allegations after requesting arrest warrants in May 2024 for Netanyahu and former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
In March, an independent panel of three judges appointed by the ICC concluded that the UN investigation had found no misconduct or breach of duty by Khan.
