Under the HIT-30 High Technology Investment Program, large-scale investments in priority technology areas are expected to receive project-based support. The Technology Initiative Program aims to launch new calls to develop and produce critical products and technologies using domestic capabilities.
Through the Strategic Initiative Program, investments that will ensure security of supply, reduce external dependence and have a strong research and development component are planned to be supported. Investment incentives are expected to take into account criteria including productivity gains, technology acquisition, energy efficiency, exports, employment and the creation of domestic added value.
Regional development and local investments
Regional development efforts aim to reduce disparities in development between regions and increase their competitiveness. Under the Local Development Initiative Program, support is planned for private-sector investments focused on technological transformation, exports and employment, based on regional investment needs.
Branding, design, packaging and certification processes are to be encouraged to increase the added value of local and traditional products. Facilitating these products' access to national and international markets is also among the planned efforts.
