Minister Çiftçi, who began his Sivas program with a visit to the Governor's Office, signed the Governor's Honor Book. He then met with Sivas Governor Yılmaz Şimşek and the provincial protocol, receiving information about the work being carried out across the province. Following the Governor's Office visit, Minister Çiftçi attended the foundation-laying ceremony of the Siyer-i Nebî Complex.
Speaking at the ceremony, which was also attended by İlim Yayma Vakfı Board of Trustees Chairman Bilal Erdoğan, AK Party TBMM Group Chairman Abdullah Güler, and former TBMM Speaker İsmet Yılmaz, Minister Çiftçi stated that the Siyer-i Nebî Complex is an exceptional work that will keep alive the exemplary life of the Prophet and serve knowledge and wisdom.

Külliye complexes have been the most powerful manifestations of our civilization's vision
Minister Çiftçi stated that the külliye complexes built by the nation throughout history are the most powerful manifestations of the civilization's vision, and said, "These works have shaped our history as centers of civilization where hearts kneaded with faith, minds illuminated by knowledge and wisdom, and generations of moral virtue are raised."
"It is with this understanding that the Siyer-i Nebî Complex, whose foundation we are laying today, is a powerful symbol of our civilizational claim, our devotion to the Prophet, and our journey of knowledge, wisdom, and sagacity," he said.
Noting that today, more than ever, there is a need not only to learn about the life of the Prophet but also to engrave his morality, compassion, justice, and approach to nurturing people onto the hearts of generations, Minister Çiftçi said, "We view every effort that does not see the Siyer merely as a historical narrative, but brings together character and personality, knowledge and practice, and wisdom, as a revival of the civilizational spirit that leavened Anatolia."
Siyer-i Nebî Complex will be a center of knowledge, wisdom, and sagacity
Touching on the importance of the concept of knowledge in Islamic civilization, Minister Çiftçi said, "We are the ummah of a Prophet whose prophethood began with the command 'Read!' This divine address teaches us to contemplate the universe with the eye of wisdom, to truly know our Lord, and to take the Prophet as an example."
"Our civilizational consciousness will only be revived with this understanding, and will rise to the future with the strength it draws from its roots," he said.
Minister Çiftçi said that the specialized institutes, research centers, libraries housing thousands of works, Islamic arts centers, and study circles to be established within the complex will become an exceptional center that brings knowledge, wisdom, and sagacity to our country and the Islamic world.

The Century of Türkiye will be an era where not only works rise but also individuals of character are raised
Recalling Hasan al-Banna's words, "Yesterday's dreams are today's realities, and today's dreams are tomorrow's realities,"
Minister Çiftçi, noting that under the strong leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, many goals and ideals once seen as dreams have become reality, said, "Our nation has left behind the times when it was marginalized because of its faith, when our headscarf-wearing girls were deprived of the right to education, and when tutelage circles tried to direct and adjust the national will."
"Endless praise be to our Lord who has shown us these days when Hagia Sophia has regained its original identity and the adhan rises freely to the skies," he said. "Now we have a new responsibility before us. That is the Century of Türkiye," Minister Çiftçi said, adding, "The Century of Türkiye will be an era where not only works rise but also individuals of character are raised."
"I believe that the Siyer-i Nebî Complex will be a hearth for generations raised with the love of the Noble Messenger, and will make valuable contributions to the peace, brotherhood, and common future of our country, our geography of hearts, and all humanity," he said.
At the end of his speech, Minister Çiftçi thanked the Siyer-i Nebî Foundation, Ömer Faruk Müderrisoğlu, the foundation's administrators, benefactors, supporting institutions and organizations, those who contributed, and the guests, and expressed his hope that the young people who will be raised here will be equipped with love for the Messenger of Allah, faith, knowledge, good morals, and wisdom.
After completing his speech, Minister Çiftçi pressed the foundation-laying button amid prayers and poured the first mortar of the project. As part of the ceremony, soil brought from various Islamic countries was also placed in the foundation of the complex, and Minister Çiftçi poured soil brought from Bukhara onto the foundation site.
