Male body found in water channel in Pendik

A person found motionless in a water channel beside the TEM connection road in Pendik was determined to have died. The male body, on which no gunshot or stab wounds were detected, was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for identification and to determine the cause of death.

At around 2:30 p.m., people who saw a person lying motionless in a water channel beside the Kurtköy-Pendik TEM Connection Road in Pendik's Harmandere neighborhood reported the situation to police teams.

Teams dispatched to the scene

Fire, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon the report. While police teams arriving at the scene took security measures in the area, initial checks by medical teams determined that the person in the water channel had died.
