A talk was held at the Frankfurt Turkish Cultural Center, affiliated with the Frankfurt Consulate General, to mark the 65th anniversary of the Türkiye-Germany Labor Agreement. The guest was Tamer Ergün Yıkıcı, founder of Metropol FM, Germany's first and only radio station broadcasting in Turkish 24 hours a day.
Many members of Frankfurt's Turkish community attended the event, titled "Frankfurt Conversations."

Migration between Türkiye and Germany began with the labor agreement signed on October 30, 1961, laying the foundation for the approximately 3-million-strong Turkish community living in Germany today. Metropol FM began broadcasting in Berlin in 1999 and gradually expanded to different regions of Germany.
