MKE General Manager İlhami Keleş told CNN Türk during a visit to the United States that the company had held talks with the Pentagon on its TOLGA close-in air defense system and ENFAL-17 missile.
"There is serious interest in the TOLGA close-in air defense system and its components — radars, microwave and laser — and in solutions such as ENFAL-17. In line with this interest, we held talks with the Pentagon," Keleş said, adding that low-cost, effective solutions against Shahed-type drones stand out. No information was given on whether the talks led to any agreement.

What are TOLGA and ENFAL-17?
TOLGA is a layered close-in air defense system that combines jamming, guns and counter-drone munitions under an AI-supported command and control system. Laser and microwave weapons are being added to it.
ENFAL-17, first unveiled at the SAHA 2026 fair in Istanbul, is a missile developed against low-altitude targets that works integrated with TOLGA. Keleş has said a procurement decision for ENFAL-17 and TOLGA was taken by the Defense Industry Executive Committee and that their entry into the Turkish Armed Forces inventory is under way.
