Muhammed Ali Çınar, who was the subject of an arrest warrant issued through a red notice, was arrested while entering Türkiye through the Türkgözü Border Gate in Ardahan.
According to a statement by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, Çınar was identified as a suspect as part of an investigation conducted by the Organized Crime Investigation Bureau. Çınar was said to be linked to incidents targeting a café in Bahçelievler on November 30, 2024, and the Iraqi Consulate General in Şişli on March 21, 2025.

It was determined that Çınar had previously been released from the prison in Georgia where he had been held in custody. During questioning after his entry into Türkiye, it was determined that the trial against him on charges of membership in a criminal organization was continuing before the Istanbul 31st High Criminal Court.
The suspect was remanded in custody by the court after the procedures were completed.
