Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz announced that the second meeting of the Fund Coordination Board, established by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will be held tomorrow. Yılmaz said the meeting would assess additional work that could be carried out and areas requiring new work.
Yılmaz answered journalists' questions at a reception hosted by Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş in the Parliamentary Ceremonial Hall for the fifth legislative year of the 28th parliamentary term.
Additional work is on the board's agenda
Yılmaz said important decisions had been made at the Fund Coordination Board's previous meeting, adding that each board makes decisions within its own area of responsibility and shares them with the public.

Yılmaz said important decisions taken by the Capital Markets Board and the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency had also been announced to the public. He added that the second meeting would address what additional steps could be taken and which areas required further work. He said a press statement would be issued after the meeting.
Payment schedule to be announced after the meeting
Responding to a question about the payment schedule in the fund investigation, Yılmaz said an announcement would be made to the public after the meeting.
Yılmaz said that, in addition to the Coordination Board, each board has its own area of authority, adding that the relevant boards would be expected to make statements about their decisions as independent authorities.

Terror-Free Türkiye process
Yılmaz announced that the Terror-Free Türkiye process was continuing and that the commission had held its second meeting with the participation of the relevant ministers and institutions. He said that, with the opening of Parliament, a commission would also be established within Parliament to monitor the process.
Yılmaz said the process was a model taking shape according to Türkiye's own circumstances, adding that there was no third party overseeing it and that the work was being carried out under Parliament's supervision. He said they wanted the process to be completed as soon as possible.
Asked whether there was any indication that confirmation could be obtained on the ground before the end of the year, Yılmaz said it would not be right to discuss timetables at this stage. Yılmaz said the process was proceeding on its own course and that the first phase would be completed following the National Security Council's findings and confirmation.
