Fuat Oktay, chair of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM), and accompanying commission members visited the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TD-İHK), headquartered in Berlin, during their engagements in Germany. Türkiye's Embassy in Berlin announced that the delegation met with businesspeople there.
Photographs show that a breakfast meeting was held in a room featuring Turkish and German flags and TD-İHK logos. The nameplates on the table showed that Berlin Ambassador Gökhan Turan also attended the meeting. After Oktay's speech, the participants took a group photograph and presented Oktay with a commemorative gift.

Presentation on visa facilitation
The meeting also featured a presentation on the Business Fast Track (BFT) scheme, which aims to speed up visa applications by company representatives traveling to Germany for business. According to the presentation, eligibility criteria include membership in Turkish-German chambers of commerce or the DEİK Turkish-German Business Council.
As part of its Berlin engagements, the commission delegation had earlier held a question-and-answer meeting with citizens and civil society representatives at the embassy.
