Türkiye's Zagreb Embassy welcomes national school sports team
Türkiye's Embassy in Zagreb welcomed the national school sports team at the airport after it arrived in Croatia to participate in the European School Sport Federation (ESSF) 2026 Multi-Sport Event, held from November 3 to 7.
Türkiye's Embassy in Zagreb welcomed the national school sports team at the airport after it arrived in Croatia to participate in the European School Sport Federation (ESSF) 2026 Multi-Sport Event. The embassy said it was pleased to welcome the national team and wished the athletes success.
The delegation, which posed for cameras with a Turkish flag at the airport, included female and male student athletes as well as coaches and officials. The national team will represent Türkiye at the event, held from November 3 to 7.
Competition in three disciplines in Poreč
The official tourism website of the Istria region lists Poreč, a city on Croatia's Istria Peninsula, as the venue for the ESSF 2026 Multi-Sport Event. Organized by the European School Sport Federation, with the Croatian School Sport Federation (HŠSS) serving as the local organizer, the event will feature school teams from different European countries competing in cross-country, badminton and table tennis.
