Speaking to journalists in New Delhi, the capital of India, Peskov assessed the possibility of renewed negotiations between Russia, the United States and Ukraine aimed at resolving the crisis.
Peskov said the talks could resume in October and that they had not ruled out this possibility.
Peskov also addressed Lithuania's plan to remove the constitutional ban on nuclear weapons. He argued that the move would not improve the country's security but would instead pose a major danger, adding that Lithuania could become a target for Russia's nuclear weapons.
