Rolls-Royce has approved a new system allowing Turkish CEO Tufan Erginbilgiç’s annual total earnings to reach up to £24.4 million if performance targets are met.
The figure does not represent his salary alone. It covers Erginbilgiç’s total potential earnings, including his base salary, performance-related bonuses, share awards and long-term incentives at their maximum levels.
Erginbilgiç took charge of Rolls-Royce in 2023. During this period, the company’s performance and share price recorded strong growth.
Major companies in the United Kingdom are increasing pay and bonus packages for successful executives, particularly to prevent them from being recruited by US companies. Under the new system, Erginbilgiç would rank among the CEOs with the highest earning potential in the United Kingdom if he meets his targets.
