In Antalya's Alanya district, Russian site manager Ludmina İnan was arrested after preventing a 13-year-old girl from entering the pool for wearing a haşema.
The child, identified as H. K., a resident of a site in Mahmutlar neighborhood, was barred from the pool by the site manager because she was wearing a haşema. The family filed a complaint with the gendarmerie. İnan was taken into custody and later arrested by the court after her gendarmerie procedures.
Fatih K., the father, who said he was at work during the incident, stated that he learned about the situation from his daughter's cousin over the phone. Emphasizing that it was not right for the manager to deal directly with a young child, Fatih K. recounted the events as follows:
"The woman spoke directly to my daughter without asking if an adult was with her. She told my daughter, 'You can't enter the pool like this.' When my daughter asked why, she replied, 'This outfit pollutes the pool. We pay a lot of money for this pool, and we, the management, have set rules.' My daughter responded that the fabric of her outfit was no different from other swimsuits, only the style was different. The manager then said, 'You can go in today, but don't come again,' accusing my daughter. This is unacceptable. A Russian site manager is trying to prevent a Muslim from entering the pool wearing a haşema. So we went to the gendarmerie and filed a complaint. The issue here is not just the humiliation of a little girl, but it is an attack on our religious sensitivities, and it is about speaking to a little girl in this manner."
