SAHA Istanbul Secretary General Muttalip Tütüncü said that advancing Türkiye’s technological drive is not a choice but a necessity.

Tütüncü said progress in advanced technology is essential for Türkiye to survive, particularly in the region where it is located.
Tütüncü spoke at a talk held on the third day of TEKNOFEST at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport as part of the "Tecrübe: İnsanlık Hali" (Experience: The Human Condition) exhibition organized by the Culture and Civilization Foundation. Noting that friends or rivals may ask "Have we gone too far?" when one tries to produce something different, Tütüncü stressed that progress must continue regardless of intentions, citing acting together and teamwork as its basic conditions.

Tütüncü described TEKNOFEST as the face of the technology ecosystem that reaches out to young people and society, while SAHA Istanbul works behind the scenes in the manufacturing sector as a sectoral civil organization, coordinating production processes and supporting cooperation among the players in the field. He added that a stronger sense of unity and integration would help Türkiye's National Technology Move fully mature.
