Services Producer Price Index rose 33.29% annually in August
The Turkish Statistical Institute released the Services Producer Price Index data for August. The index rose 2.87% month on month, 32.66% from the start of the year and 34.46% based on 12-month averages.
The Turkish Statistical Institute released the Services Producer Price Index (H-ÜFE) data for August. The H-ÜFE rose 33.29% compared with the same month last year.
The index increased 2.87% month on month, 32.66% compared with December of the previous year and 34.46% based on 12-month averages.
Annual changes in service groups
The highest annual increase in August was recorded in transport and storage services. Prices in this group rose 40.07% compared with August 2025.
During the same period, prices rose 32.79% in professional, scientific and technical services; 30.44% in administrative and support services; 28.69% in information and communication services; 27.53% in accommodation and food services; and 21.71% in real estate services.
Monthly changes
Compared with the previous month, prices rose 3.99% in transport and storage services, 3.03% in administrative and support services, 2.77% in real estate services, 2.31% in information and communication services and 2.27% in accommodation and food services.
The monthly increase in professional, scientific and technical services was calculated at 0.65%.
