Türkiye's energy import bill rose 33.8% year on year in August
Türkiye's total imports rose 10.5% in August from the same month last year to reach $28 billion 705 million 923 thousand. The energy import bill amounted to $6 billion 464 million 353 thousand, while crude oil imports fell 1.1% to 2 million 844 thousand 434 tonnes.

The amount paid for mineral fuels, mineral oils and products of their distillation, bituminous substances and mineral waxes, calculated as energy imports, totaled $6 billion 464 million 353 thousand.
Energy imports rise 33.8%
The energy import bill stood at $4 billion 831 million 522 thousand in August last year. The figure therefore increased 33.8% year on year.
Crude oil imports, meanwhile, fell 1.1% over the same period to 2 million 844 thousand 434 tonnes.
