STM field-tests autonomous systems against hostile drones
STM field-tested its TUNGA-X Hunter Drone, developed against hostile UAVs, along with systems designed to secure critical facilities. The integrations of TOGAN, TOGAN-M, the NEST Smart Nest System and SpecDrone were evaluated in different scenarios.
STM's TUNGA-X Hunter Drone system, which has radar-supported capabilities to detect, track and neutralize hostile UAVs, carried out missions in the field.
The integration of TOGAN with the NEST Smart Nest System for the remote and uninterrupted surveillance of critical facilities was also tested. The integration of the TOGAN-M Mini Observer UAV with the Smart Nest System was evaluated in different scenarios.
During the activities, the TOGAN and SpecDrone integrations designed for signals intelligence missions also demonstrated their capabilities. The tests validated solutions in the field for countering hostile UAVs, autonomous reconnaissance and surveillance, critical facility security and signals intelligence.
