Five companies from Türkiye's defense industry have entered the ranking of the world's 100 largest defense companies. ASELSAN ranked 40th, TUSAŞ 48th, ARCA Savunma 53rd, ROKETSAN 64th and MKE 81st.
The companies on the list share a role in the management of SAHA İstanbul and have been parties to multibillion-dollar agreements at the SAHA International Defense, Aerospace and Space Industry Fair organized by the cluster.
Roles in SAHA İstanbul's management
ROKETSAN General Manager Murat İkinci, ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol and MKE General Manager İlhami Keleş serve as deputy chairpersons on the SAHA İstanbul Board of Directors. TUSAŞ General Manager Mehmet Demiroğlu participates in the cluster's strategic decisions as a board member.
ARCA Savunma, which entered the list for the first time, is represented in SAHA İstanbul's management by Board Member Özgür Rodoplu.

Export contribution to revenue
All five Turkish companies in the ranking increased their defense industry revenue. Their combined defense revenue reached $14.9 billion, with a significant portion generated through exports.
The fair organized by SAHA İstanbul has become a contract platform supporting Türkiye's defense industry's export activities internationally. Export contracts worth approximately $4.5 billion were signed at the fair in 2024, while contracts worth $8 billion were signed in 2026.
Integration with SMEs
Bringing public institutions, industry and universities together under one roof, SAHA İstanbul supports the development of the defense industry through its cluster model.
The active involvement of ASELSAN, TUSAŞ, ARCA Savunma, ROKETSAN and MKE in management bodies and committees helps the companies serving as prime contractors establish direct integration with more than 1,300 SMEs that are members of the cluster. The production capacity of SMEs increases the flexibility of the supply chain while helping shorten delivery times and strengthen global competitiveness.
