ASELSAN’s LGK-84 munition hits two targets with F-16 strikes
ASELSAN’s LGK-84 munition hit an armored personnel carrier and a tank target in two separate strikes conducted from an F-16 platform during a demonstration at the Konya Karapınar Firing Test Range. The demonstration also featured an LGK-82 released from an AKINCI and the GÖZDE Guidance Kit, with all four strikes hitting their targets precisely.
ASELSAN’s LGK-84 munition, equipped with laser guidance technology, hit two different targets precisely during a demonstration at the Konya Karapınar Firing Test Range.
Two separate strikes were carried out from an F-16 platform using the LGK-84. The first targeted an armored personnel carrier, while the second targeted a tank. Both munitions hit their targets precisely.
Two different munitions were used from the AKINCI
As part of the demonstration, two different guided munitions were also released from the AKINCI unmanned aerial vehicle platform. The LGK-82 deployed from the AKINCI hit the armored personnel carrier target precisely.
The GÖZDE Guidance Kit, developed in cooperation with TÜBİTAK, also successfully struck a target moving at 50 kilometers per hour.
Thus, all four strikes conducted during the demonstration—two with the LGK-84, one with the LGK-82 and one with GÖZDE—hit their targets precisely. The LGK-84 system’s precision-strike capability against fixed ground targets was demonstrated before international participants.
