Successive Explosion Sounds Heard in Iran's Hormozgan Region
Successive explosion sounds were heard in Hormozgan province in southern Iran, and an unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down in the Persian Gulf. An official statement is awaited.
Iranian media reported that successive explosion sounds were heard in the city of Bandar Abbas, located in Hormozgan province. According to initial assessments, no official statement has been made regarding the cause of the explosions. The semi-official Fars News Agency reported that similar sounds were also heard in the Sirik and Jask regions following the explosion sounds. Additionally, the Iranian Armed Forces announced that an unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down in the Persian Gulf during the day.
