Tarkan Performs to Thousands in Ankara Despite Rain
Tarkan took the stage at Ankara Millet Bahçesi as part of Koç Holding’s 100th anniversary celebrations. Thousands filled the venue to watch the concert despite the rain.
As part of Koç Holding’s 100th anniversary celebrations, Tarkan gave an unforgettable night to thousands of Ankara residents at Ankara Millet Bahçesi. Despite the rain, the audience filled the venue and sang along to the artist’s popular songs.
The concert opened with "Ölürüm Sana". Throughout the night, Tarkan performed many of his hits including "Dudu", "Sevdanın Son Vuruşu", "Tut Elimden", and "Oynama Şıkıdım".
Expressed Gratitude to Koç Holding
Tarkan thanked Koç Holding, celebrating its 100th year, for bringing him together with the people of the capital. Before the concert, a documentary about the company’s founding process was shown.
The documentary featured visuals from the early years of the Republic and highlighted the work and contributions of the late businessman Vehbi Koç and the Koç family.
Strong Attendance Despite Rain
Extensive security measures were in place at the concert. Despite the rainy weather, a large audience of all ages attended and filled the venue.
Ramazan Öztürk, who attended the concert, said he was happy to see Tarkan in a public concert after a long time. Havva Kamışlı, who came with her spouse, thanked Koç Holding for providing this experience and said the concert fulfilled her dreams.
