Tesla unveiled the long-awaited second-generation Roadster at a demonstration in Texas. During the show, the car drove up a ramp, hovered in mid-air using SpaceX thrusters and flipped over parked Tesla vehicles.
According to the company, the car’s 0-60 mph sprint was clocked at 0.81 seconds in a live measurement at the event. The time has not yet been independently certified.
Three versions

The Roadster will come in three versions: Performance, Thrust and Rocket. Tesla said all versions offer a range of more than 480 kilometers. The top-of-the-line Rocket will be sold by invitation only and will not be approved for public roads.
Reservations were reported at $50,000 for the Performance and $250,000 for the Thrust. Production is targeted to begin in 2028.
