The lifeless body of 20-year-old Musa Paşa, who was swept away and went missing in the flood disaster caused by heavy rain three days ago in the Samandağ district of Hatay, was found. Musa Paşa's body was noticed by a citizen working in a field in an olive grove about 2 kilometers from the point where he went missing. After examinations by the search teams that arrived at the scene, the body was taken to the morgue. The body of another young man, 19-year-old Deniz Hoşgel, who went missing in the flood, had previously been found at the point where the Asi River meets the sea. Search and rescue operations covering an area of approximately 20 kilometers were conducted under the coordination of AFAD, with the participation of the Coast Guard, fire department, gendarmerie, and volunteers, supported by drones and tracking dogs. The discovery of the lifeless bodies of the two young men lost in the flood once again revealed the scale of the disaster in the region.
