Togg owners living in Germany met in Stuttgart to strengthen solidarity among the brand’s users in Europe. The event began with breakfast at a bakery in Feuerbach and continued with a 45-car Togg convoy driving through the streets of Stuttgart.
Togg drivers parked their vehicles side by side in a parking lot reserved for them. The convoy ended when the drivers followed the same navigation route to the Togg Europe GmbH headquarters in Fasanenhof.
They met at the Togg Europe headquarters
The users gathered outside the headquarters, spoke with Togg Europe officials and shared their experiences of using the vehicles in Europe. Drivers who attended from different cities across Germany described their commitment to the domestically produced vehicle and the importance of community solidarity.
Deniz Baydur said he had driven 7,000 to 8,000 kilometers during the first month after taking delivery of his vehicle. Baydur emphasized the importance of supporting national technology.
Emre Çiçek, the owner of a driving school, traveled approximately 500 kilometers from the city of Lünen to Stuttgart with his family. He announced that the first vehicle at the new branch of his driving school would be a Togg T10F. Çiçek said they aimed to offer this service to people in Germany and contribute to promoting the brand.
The community will establish an online forum
Bilgehan Çalışkan, one of the community’s founding administrators, said a WhatsApp group created by four people had quickly grown into a 160-member network. Çalışkan said they would establish an online forum specifically for Togg users to make the flow of information more organized.
The planned forum is intended to facilitate the regular sharing of software updates, technical innovations and gathering schedules. The community’s management also plans to conduct a survey so users can submit their suggestions and feedback.
Habib Aydın, another co-founder of the community, said he had driven 40,000 kilometers in his own Togg within eight to nine months. Aydın said he had shared the experiences of Turkish citizens traveling from Europe to Türkiye in their electric vehicles and that they had been able to receive remote support from engineers in Türkiye for technical problems.
An official association is planned
During meetings held as part of the event, participants decided to establish an official association to continue gatherings across Germany and facilitate organizational processes. The organization is expected to become official under the name "Togg Deutschland Community e.V." after the bureaucratic procedures are completed.
The community’s management plans to organize three or four professional gatherings across Germany each year. In the coming months, large-scale events are also planned in other major cities, particularly Frankfurt.
Businessman Lokman Aksakal also called on Turkish businesspeople and company owners in Germany to keep a Togg vehicle in front of their businesses. The community aims to guide Togg users across Europe through the planned online forum.
