Today, we met at the Turkish Embassy in Warsaw with POTİAD and valued representatives of the Turkish business community operating in Poland. While our entrepreneurs and investors in Poland serve as an important bridge in developing economic relations between Türkiye and Poland, they also make valuable contributions to strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
At the meeting, we discussed the current state of Türkiye–Poland economic relations, opportunities for mutual investment and trade, our production capacity integrated with European industry, and the opportunities created by the transformation taking place in the global economy.
We are pleased that trade between Türkiye and friendly, allied Poland stands at $12.5 billion and is balanced, while projects and contracting activity have a value of $10 billion.
At the meeting, which was also attended by MP Ferhat Nasıroğlu, Chairman of the Türkiye–Poland Friendship Group, we saw that Türkiye continues to maintain its appeal for international investors thanks to its strong production infrastructure, strategic location, qualified human resources and critical role in European value chains.
We believe that our businesspeople and entrepreneurs operating in Poland will continue their constructive role in developing trade and investment relations between the two countries. I wish all our business representatives and citizens success in their work.
