Turkic states' audit bodies sign TURKSAI charter in Antalya
The founding ceremony of TURKSAI, which brings together the supreme audit institutions of member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), was held in Antalya. The organization's charter was signed at the ceremony, where OTS Secretary General Omuraliev delivered the opening remarks.
A ceremony marking the establishment of the Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions of the OTS Member States (TURKSAI) was held in Antalya on October 24, 2026. OTS Secretary General Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev delivered the opening remarks.
The TURKSAI charter was signed during the ceremony, followed by a symposium on sustainable development.
Founding declaration was signed in Istanbul last year
The supreme audit institutions of Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan met in Istanbul on November 21-23, 2025, and the organization's founding declaration was signed on November 22, 2025. Omuraliev also delivered welcoming remarks at that meeting, hosted by Metin Yener, President of the Court of Accounts.
The new organization within the OTS aims to strengthen the exchange of experience and cooperation among the audit institutions of member states.
