Türkiye's honey exports reached 39 countries in the first 9 months of 2026. During this period, 5,139 tons of honey were exported, generating more than $22.5 million in revenue.
The U.S. took the largest share of exports with $7,168,994. Honey sales to Germany amounted to $3,124,359 and to the U.K. $3,115,101.

New markets added to the list
Syria, Denmark, Sweden and Cabo Verde were also among the countries to which Türkiye exported honey. No honey had been exported to these countries in the same period last year.
Selcuk Iskender, chairman of the board of the Eastern Black Sea Exporters' Association, said the 9-month exports showed significant market diversity for Turkish honey.

Iskender said the U.S., Germany and the U.K. are the main export markets, adding that sales to other countries also support the recognition of Turkish honey in international markets.
The association's goals include increasing the number of countries importing Turkish honey and expanding its share in existing markets. Iskender stressed the importance of continuing efforts to highlight the quality and reliability of Turkish honey in world markets.
