Turkish riders Can Öncü and Bahattin Sofuoğlu will race in Spain’s finale
Can Öncü and Bahattin Sofuoğlu will compete at the Jerez-Angel Nieto Circuit in Spain from October 16 to 18 for the season finale of the World Supersport Championship. Öncü, who is third in the overall standings with 234 points, is among the championship favorites for this weekend’s races.
The Turkish Motorcycle Federation announced that the final races of the World Supersport Championship season will be held at the Jerez-Angel Nieto Circuit in Spain from October 16 to 18.
Turkish rider Can Öncü, regarded as one of the championship favorites, is third in the overall standings with 234 points. The event will begin with free practice in Jerez tomorrow.
Race schedule
The Turkish riders will take to the track at 3 p.m. Türkiye time on Saturday, October 17, for the weekend’s first 17-lap race.
The final 17-lap main race of the championship’s season finale will start on Sunday, October 18.
