According to the latest assessments by the Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM), the country is expected to be partly and sometimes mostly cloudy with localized showers and thunderstorms in the Mediterranean (excluding Antalya and Hatay), Eastern Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia (excluding Elazığ and Şırnak), around Konya, Karaman, Niğde, Kayseri and Sivas, as well as inland parts of Sinop and Kastamonu, and southern parts of Karabük.
Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in Artvin, Bayburt, Kars, Ardahan, Iğdır and northern parts of Erzurum. AIR TEMPERATURE AND WIND Significant changes in air temperature are not expected. Winds will generally be light from the north and east, occasionally moderate, but strong (40-60 km/h) from the south and southwest in southeastern Eastern Anatolia.
WARNINGS HEAVY RAIN WARNING Since precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in Artvin, Bayburt, Kars, Ardahan, Iğdır and northern parts of Erzurum, citizens should be cautious and take precautions against possible adverse conditions.
