Türkiye's honey exports reached 39 countries in the first nine months of 2026. During this period, 5,139 tonnes of honey were exported, generating more than $22.5 million in revenue.
The United States accounted for the largest share of exports, with $7,168,994 in sales. Honey sales to Germany totaled $3,124,359, while exports to the United Kingdom amounted to $3,115,101.

New markets added to the list
Syria, Denmark, Sweden and Cabo Verde were also among the countries to which Türkiye exported honey. No honey exports were made to these countries during the same period last year.
Selçuk İskender, chairman of the board of the Eastern Black Sea Exporters' Association, said the nine-month export figures showed significant market diversification for Turkish honey.

İskender said the United States, Germany and the United Kingdom were the main export markets, adding that sales to other countries also supported the recognition of Turkish honey in international markets.
The association's goals include increasing the number of countries importing Turkish honey and expanding its market share in existing markets. İskender emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to highlight the quality and reliability of Turkish honey in global markets.
