Vegetable-Loaded Truck Flew Off Viaduct: 3 Dead, 3 Injured
In an accident on the Gaziantep Nurdağı Başpınar Viaduct where a vegetable-loaded truck collided with a car, 3 people lost their lives and 3 were injured.
In the accident that occurred on the Tarsus-Adana-Gaziantep Highway Nurdağı Başpınar Viaduct towards Gaziantep, a vegetable-loaded truck crashed into the car in front from behind. As a result of the impact, the truck lost control, flew off the viaduct about 30 meters high, and overturned. Health, gendarmerie, and fire brigade teams dispatched to the scene determined that the driver İslam Görgülü and Abdurrahman Bölüş and Mevlüt Görgülü in the truck lost their lives. Gurbet B., who was seriously injured, and two people in the car were taken to various hospitals. The condition of one of the injured was reported as critical. It was learned that the three people who lost their lives in the accident were traveling from Mersin to Şanlıurfa Siverek. Traffic flow on the highway was controlled, and an investigation into the accident was launched.
