13 People Detained in the Investigation of CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress
Operations were conducted in 7 provinces in the investigation of CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress, and 13 people were detained on various charges. Details are in our news.
Simultaneous operations were carried out in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Şanlıurfa, Kahramanmaraş, Kilis, and Malatya provinces within the scope of the investigation into allegations of interference with the voting will of delegates at the Republican People's Party's 38th Ordinary Congress. In the operations, 13 people were detained on charges of violating the political parties law, accepting bribes, and laundering assets derived from crime. Among those detained are Gülhan Aydın, Sadi Karayalçın, Melda Tanışman Tutan, Hayati Kaya, Suat Dülger, Kalender Özdemir, Özkan Deniz, İbrahim Şahin, Umut Sapan, Mehmet Ayıp Demirbüken, Metin Kaya, Gaffar Çiçek, and Ayça Akpek Şenay. Searches and seizures were conducted at the suspects' addresses as part of the investigation. Details of the investigation conducted by official authorities have not yet been shared.
