Turkish defense company ASELSAN and the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) signed contracts totaling €2.46 billion for the procurement of hybrid air defense systems, ASELSAN said in a filing with the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). The filing did not disclose the name or number of the systems or the delivery schedule.
According to TRT Haber, the contracts are the largest ASELSAN has signed in a single deal in its 51-year history.

It is ASELSAN’s third major air defense contract announced since Oct. 1, following €1.0085 billion in additional contracts with the SSB for serial production of long-range air defense systems on Oct. 1 and a €488.5 million export deal with a foreign end user on Oct. 2, bringing the total to about €4 billion.
